Account deletion in the app
Finance News 30 lets you permanently delete your account without contacting support first. After you confirm, we remove your Firebase authentication account and delete your user profile document where our services and security rules allow.
Steps:
- Sign in to the app.
- Open Profile (from the home tab or profile menu, depending on your device).
- Go to Privacy & Security.
- Tap Delete Account, read the warning, then type DELETE to confirm.
- If you use email and password, enter your password. If you use Google or Apple, complete that sign-in once more to verify your identity — then deletion finishes in the app.
Phone-only sign-in: If the app cannot complete deletion automatically, email contact@financenews30.com with “Account Deletion” in the subject line.
Residual data may take up to 30 days to fully clear from encrypted backups and provider logs, as described below.

Delete account (summary):
- Primary — in the app: Use Profile → Privacy & Security → Delete Account and follow the on-screen steps (including typing DELETE and re-verifying with your password, Google, or Apple as prompted). This is the same flow linked from the “Account deletion in the app” section above.
- Alternative — by email: Contact contact@financenews30.com or use our Account Deletion Request mail link.
- Timing: Associated personal data is removed within 30 days of deletion; some residual copies may persist briefly in encrypted backups or service-provider logs where permitted by law.
Notifications:

Data Portability:

7. GUEST BROWSING
- Browse without account (up to 25 cards)
- Limited anonymous data collected
- No personal information collected for guests
- View count stored locally on device

- FINANCE NEWS 30 (FN30) contains links to external news websites
- We are not responsible for their privacy practices
- External sites have their own policies
RSS Feeds:
- News aggregated from public feeds
- Original articles belong to publishers
